MarineGuard are launching OceanView at Seawork 2014. The new range of HD IP security cameras will be on display on stand D9 from the 10th to 12th June in Southampton.
Developed in partnership with Marine Camera Solutions, the OceanView range of HD IP security cameras available through MarineGuard offer the latest in imaging and networking technology from nitrogen purged IP 68 housing. The entire range is ONVIF compliant and PoE+, operating over a single cable up to 100m. The OceanView range includes PTZ, fixed domes as well as standard HD and thermal tube cameras.
A key innovative feature is at the core of this solution in the form of the patented mounting mechanism which ensures simple and quick installation through a single access point making it suitable either as part of a new build or a refit project. Removing the need to gain access to the back of the camera, significantly reduces the installation time and the shipyard integration costs. The mount will reduce any costs associated in upgrading or updating the system.
For ease of installation, a variety of deck head thicknesses can be accommodated. The threaded mount is non-intrusive, aesthetically pleasing, with standard or flush mounted bezels which are available in polished stainless steel or custom colours. The camera is locked in position using a concealed locking grub screw with no visible external fixings.
“We are delighted to see the OceanView range of cameras launch,” commented Tony Reid, Managing Director at Marine Camera Solutions. “We have been working closely with MarineGuard combining their experience of security requirements with our technical knowledge of cameras. OceanView is a game changer in the industry, which has already been well received on visits to boat yards.”
