Clements Engineering have designed and manufactured propellers, stern gear and associated equipment for over 30 years and they are proud to manufacture in their Bedfordshire facility in the UK. In recognition of this they are part of the Made in Britain campaign so they can use the familiar logo which is associated with many well know respected British brands.
Managing Director, Paul Williams commented, “We have seen numerous people experience problems with cheap or badly designed foreign imports. We hope, this recognition will give our customers additional reassurance that the product they have bought is fully made in Britain”.
The Made in Britain campaign was started in 2011 and has grown in recognition and membership numbers. The aim is to give buyer confidence and to promote British based industry and manufacturing.
Clements Engineering recently achieved Lloyds Registry approval for their foundry, which is also located at their site in Bedfordshire. The products they manufacture are used throughout the world on a wide variety of vessel types, each to approved quality levels.
