Ocean Yacht Systems have been on a recruitment drive to meet the changing needs of the business, with three new appointments. Simon Lewton has been appointed as stores manager, Mark Williams head buyer and Andreina Goncalves is the new general administrator.
Simon’s background is in aviation, where he has had a successful career putting good stores management into practice. Since being in the role, Simon has already made some key changes which have increased the efficiency and stock levels, which ultimately has already proved beneficial to customers of OYS.
Mark, previously a senior buyer for healthcare products, brings his purchasing experience to the team. Working closely with Simon, Mark is strengthening the relationships OYS has with its suppliers to ensure OYS continues to get the very best from its specialist supply chain.
Andreina is responsible for the day to day administration at OYS, and is the first point of contact when customers and suppliers call the office. She will be joining the team who will be exhibiting at METS (Marine Equipment Trade Show) in Amsterdam from 18th to 20th November.
