Lou Johnson

I grew up in land-locked Cambridge, where my love of sailing on the River Cam led me to a career in the marine industry that I am passionate about beyond belief.

At work, I have 22 years of experience in the marine industry working in-house and independently. I hold the Chartered Institute of Marketing Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing, and an MA in Marketing Management.

At weekends, you will find me in my trainers getting miles in on the trails of the New Forest or on the water somewhere in the UK in my Merlin Rocket. In the winter I love to head to the mountains on two planks.

Outside, but very much alongside, my work I am currently Publicity Officer for the Merlin Rocket Owners’ Association and Vice Chair of the Yachting Journalists’ Association.
